DESCRIPTION :     Terminalia catappa, also known as the Indian almond tree, is a tropical tree native to South and Southeast Asia. Its leaves are often used in aquariums for their beneficial properties, such as releasing tannins that can lower the pH of the water and providing a natural source of food for certain fish species. Additionally, the tree's leaves have been traditionally used in various cultures for their medicinal properties.
