Indoor Plant Care Guide

Not every plant needs the same amount of water. Indoor plants generally require less frequent watering than outdoor ones, and the needs can vary depending on the size of the plant, the size of the pot, and your room temperature. Although many indoor plants are sensitive to sunlight, some still require indirect sun. Such plants should be placed near a window or in a spot where the temperature is cooler but still receives sunlight. Others do not need sun at all but still need light, so ensure they are placed under artificial lighting when necessary.

Watering:

• In general, water your plants once a week.
  
• To determine if your plant needs water, perform a simple soil test: insert your finger about 2–3 inches into the soil. If it feels dry, it’s time to water. If it’s still damp, wait a day or two and check again.
  
• After watering, the soil should be moist but not soggy or pulpy.
  
• You can also use a moisture meter to monitor soil water levels.
  

Fertilization / Plant Food:

• Provide nutrients, minerals, and fertilizers once a month or every two months.
  
• Use organic pesticides or fungicides to keep plants healthy and pest-free.

Cutting / Pruning: -

Use clean sharp shears to cut. Remove any diseased / damaged area immediately to prevent it from spreading.
To prune for growth, make a clean angel cut above a healthy leaf node, not too close or far from the node. Don’t cut away more than 25% of the plant's total size at one time.
