Carissa macrocarpa is a shrub native to tropical and southern Africa. It is commonly known as the Natal plum. Relatively slower growth makes this plant an excellent option for using as ground cover.

برقوق ناتال أو كاريسا اسمه العلمي كاريسا من نباتات الفصيلة الدفلية. وأصله من جنوب أفريقيا. نوع مختلف أنواع مختلفة في الشكل والحجم وفيما بينها كاريسا جراندفلورا و كاريسا كارندا و كاريسا ماكروكاربا. نموه بطيء نسبيًا.
